Just this side of Heaven is a place called RainbowBridge
When an animal dies - one that has been especially close to someone here - that pet goes to RainbowBridge. There are meadows and hills for our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water, sunshine and cozy beds, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass - his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain on your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet - so long gone but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the RainbowBridge together.

Abby
"Big, beautiful and sweeter than pie". That was my motto for you, my beloved Abby. One afternoon in October 2014 you
unexpectedly jumped into a kennel in the back of my car. Prior to that moment, I had been warned of your infamous history and behavior, but somehow on that afternoon
that I will never, ever forget, I chose to take this gesture as a sign that I should care for you until I could find a suitable forever home for you. How blessed I am that ultimately, that forever home on this earth was with me.
During our three short years together and while you battled every possible painful medical
affliction imaginable, you never lost your incredibly sweet,
loving and sensitive spirit. Given your past, I find it ironic how in our life together you brought out the best in every entity you encountered. You left this world a better place for having been here, Abby. Thank you for choosing me and for leaving your forever paw print on my heart and life.
I love you and can't wait to see you again at the Rainbow Bridge...
Odin
Odin, you came to us when it was near time to let go of another great Rottie, Ceasar. You only had a short time with him but you learned so much. You have brought so much joy to us that letting you go is so very difficult. You were too young to leave us but we know you are with all of the other Rotties we have loved. You have a new pack now Odin, we will see you again. We love you.
Thank you BSRR,
Wendy Troutman

Candi
Candi joined our family on 3/1/12. She loved us all, but she truly was a daddy's girl. When she saw him, she would talk & wag her tail until he'd pet & talked to her. She would go to bed when he went to bed & eat her food only when he sat down to eat his. Even though he came home from work on different days & different times, she knew when he'd be home. She'd lay in front of the door, in the middle of the walkway & wait for him. Heaven forbid if he left, then didn't pet & talk with her! Upon his return, she'd ignore him & she made sure he knew it. If dad was sleeping in, then she'd take her food dish in her mouth, go to the bedroom & eat (always 1 piece at a time). She would get on the couch also with it an hardly ever spilled a piece. She loved to chase her tail in another room only if she was by herself & she'd quit if anyone came in. We called her Miss Candi Sue & only her dad could call her Candi Cane. She touched many hearts...we all miss her a lot, even Jordan, her buddy, who also joined our family the same day. Our vet has made a donation to The Arbor Foundation in memory of Candi, who was laid to rest on 2/2/17. 10 trees will be planted & registered in Tahoe National Forest. Until we all meet again at the Rainbow Bridge ❤️.
Tasha
E.O.W. 21-July-16
Tasha was a referral from BSRR. Her owners, Steve and Rose, adopted her from the shelter in Bozeman and for eleven years were blessed to have her in their home. Tasha was their when their daughter Alex came into their lives, and was with them on many adventures. She is truly missed.
Sarge
My last days....(were AWESOME!)
Mom and dad learned I was sick (progressive bone cancer in my rear leg) and to top it off I broke it on Saturday when I chased after my brother who was chasing a cat (dumb kid, he'll learn).
The vet said it was the most painful and I shouldn't have to suffer past Friday.... So they spoiled me!!!
I had bacon for breakfast and ham for lunch! I heard dad tell mom not to tell Squirt cause he'd be jealous! Lots of people came to see me: Grammy and papa (Grammy came twice cause she was super sad), uncle Dave (I scared the crap out if him when I was new to the family, I used to bark a lot and because I have such a big head, he was scared!)( was sad too, he let me out everyday for years, I think I was his favorite), Shannon, Cameron and Payton came too! Payton scrubbed my head, I'm gonna miss her! And Sheryl came, she brought TREATS!!!!
Dad took me for a ride in the truck and let me stay in for 2 hours....that's one of my favorite things ever. I got to lay in the sun, thank god there was sun☀ I got tons of tummy rubs, scoobies, and my mom even spooned with me (I thought only people did that, but I let her cause she was sad )
The best day of my life was when mom and dad adopted my from Big Sky Rottweiler Rescue in Idaho. The second best day was when they brought Samson home, he's super cute and full of energy. I think he kept me young (when he wasn't annoyjng).
But now it's time. I want you all to know that my life was amazing and I'm headed over the Rainbow Bridge! Dad said that my brother Oden is there and I can't wait to meet him! Samson has the watch now, he may not look tough but I taught him everything he knows (he's still working on his howl do don't poke fun at him). Until I see you
