Our dogs love lying on their Kuranda beds. They keep them off of cold drafty floors during the winter and provides excellent ventilation in the hot summer months.
Though they benefit greatly from Kuranda beds, we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price so another rescue dog can sleep in comfort, you can do so directly from the Kuranda web site.

Hi, I'm Otis. I have already had 4 homes in my 3 years of life. My first family had me for a couple of years, then they gave me to someone else who had me for about 3 months. My latest owner had me for about 6 months and was living out of her car and surrendered me to the shelter. The rescue I am with now got her to get me back out and I was staying with her friend and her intact male and since I was also intact that wasn't working very well. Then I attacked a cat and my owner didn't want me anymore, so now I am homeless again. My foster Dad says I am just a big cream puff. I walk well on a lead for him, I come when called and sit nicely for the reward treats. I even shake hands. My foster Mom says I am a sweet boy who just wants to be with his person and loves to be petted. I even put my head on her lap and will put my paw out for more. My foster Mom says they will find me a wonderful home so I never have to go through this again. Otis is a wonderful young boy who wants to please and be with his people. He walks well on a lead, sits and shakes. He is taking his homelessness pretty hard. He gets along with the females he is near, so A female companion may work with proper introduction. No cats. I think Otis has been a victim of unknowledgeable pet owners who really shouldn't have had a dog to begin with. He will be neutered and given shots Saturday and he will be ready for adoption. Otis needs a 6 foot fence, unless you are in the yard to supervise him and initially have him on a long line. Once he is bonded, this may change.
