Kali was found wandering in below zero temps. Attempts to find her owners were unsuccessful. Here is what she's been able to tell us so far:

"The lady who saved me took me to a very clean smelling place where I heard and saw lots of other animals and people in white coats. The people there touched me all over, looked at my teeth and in my ears, and then one of them stuck me with a sharp thingy three times, but it only stung for a second and then everyone was happy and I got treats to go for another car ride. I like riding in cars!"

"I  like the dogs and cats I've met so far. My kennel is warmer than outside, but I'd sure love to be outside running around a little more. I loved it when the lady took me for a walk. I learned that if I didn't pull too hard it made her happy and that made me happy. She gave me yummy treats when I remembered not to pull."

"I like women more than men, but I am warming up to the current man in my life. I've learned that if I sit he gives me treats and love. I'm also learning not to put my paws up on the counter and doors."

Kali is a happy little girl full of energy and curiosity. We are still getting to know her and we will update her page with more details soon. Kali is now up-to-date on her shots and she has been wormed. She will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested before she can be adopted.
