Bonita is a friendly, loving, playful, happy, gentle little lady. She loves her balls, and will often play ball with herself. When she came to us as a stray, she was very thin, unsocialized with people, and had been recently bred, but now she is learning basic obedience and doing well. She has a high energy level, and is very atheletic. She loves people, being petted, and takes even the best of treats very gently.
GREAT NEWS!  BEE'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED!!!!!
Foster comments:
"Bee" is a super sweet girl!  Can you say "FUN"?  This girl is a lot of fun to be around.  She is happy to see everyone at any time.  Bee is crate trained, knows basic obedience commands, is house trained, walks well on leash, and is a great couch buddy while watching TV.  She has learned so much at her foster home.  We believe she was never in a house before and therefore everything was new to her and a bit scary.  Opening drawers, or cupboard doors would send her running.  Now, she is a happy well adjusted girl.  Bee gets along well with cats and also has a healthy respect for them, has been exposed to cattle and is curious and cautious around them, even when a steer tried to lick her face!  She rides extremely well in the vehicle.  Bee is used to getting her toenails dremeled, and lays calmly for you.  Anything that we have introduced to her she has accepted easily.  We do not know for sure just how old she is, she acts like a young 2 year old.

If you are looking for an absolutely sweet, fun, energetic dog - Bee is the one for you!  She would love to live in an active home with people that would include her in all activities - hiking, camping, running, working, etc.

More about Bonita

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Bee needs a home without rocks or gravel in her environment. We believe she ate rocks (out of boredom) before she came into rescue. She had surgery to remove them. We want her to be safe and never need surgery again. She is sooooo sweet!
