Hi 'Im Nala.  I am a very sweet girl and my tongue goes as fast as my little stump, or vice versa.  I love to kiss.  I am a little shy and am learning new things.  I wanted to bark at my kennels mates but my foster Mom told me that wasn't nice so I don't do that anymore.  I got a stuffless toy but wanted to protect it and again my foster Mom says that was very inappropriate, so she took it away and I will get it back here and there, until I can carry it around without incident.  I have already learned to sit for my food and am learning to take treats nicer.  That comes from being shy and uncertain.
I have also decided I like to be in with my kennel mates by climbing the chain link fence so my foster parents put a panel over my kennel.  Darn, it worked!!
I really need someone to work with me and show me that things in life going forward are ok.  I am easy to work with and walk well on lead now.

UPDATE 1-25-15
We took Nala to Petco yesterday and she was the star of the store.  She started out a little apprehensive and slowly gained confidence.  We looked at the cats first, she must have never seen one as it was pretty scary.  She did eventually walk right up to the cage and look at it with the help of a very small girl.  Everyone wanted to pet her, so she gave kisses  to anyone that would let her.
She met a puppy that wanted to play with her and did jump on her with no reaction.  She met a pug and lifted him off the ground sniffing the privates.  She met another small Auzzie twice and interacted with a bigger pointer x.  So I would say she did very well and loved the outing.
She didn't get car sick on the way there (10 miles), but she got lots of treats and before she got home got sick.  I think this is something she will outgrow with more short outings and some Dramamine
