Hi, I'm Kip!

I love exploring, hiking, playing in my backyard, going for rides in the car, lounging on dog beds and carrying toys around the house. While I am still full of youthful enthusiasm and playfulness, I am very well behaved, easy-going and curious about the world around me. While I don’t like to brag, I get along exceptionally well with every dog and animal I meet, both big and small. I am naturally very social and easy-going with both adults and kids of all ages, so much so, my nickname is "Love Bug". I am also great with livestock. Although I love treats, I am very praise-motivated and I will do pretty much anything if I am told that I am a good boy. I do look to other dogs for guidance and help, so other another buddy in the house would be fine to help to my progress and my love of play! 

Since my foster mom is a stickler for "good manners", I have exceptional house manners and I am now finishing advanced obedience training, which I love. I have mastered sit, stay, heel, leave it, down and many other commands and fun dog tricks. I am also crate trained. I have great recall when I'm off-lead but I also walk well on a leash. I love to learn and therefore, I am a quick study on pretty much anything you want to teach me. Did I tell you that I take treats from big and small hands with great gentleness and I sit politely and wait for meals and treats?
