I have been in rescue awhile and don't know why. Mom says beauty is only skin deep and just because I don't have that “traditional” Rottie look, people are passing me by. If they met me and my inner beauty, I would have a home today. While my Mom says I am doing great with other dogs, she would like to see me in a home all my own so I can give all my love, but I may be OK sharing that with a female, would have to meet her first.  I would recommend a home without cats.  I will chase rabbits when they run, and cats and rabbits look the same, right?
I love rolling around in the grass on my back with my legs wiggling straight in the air--makes my Mom laugh.  Snow angels are even more fun and I can make a lot of those.
I am a very happy boy and smile all the time. I love to get close and cuddle, have even learned to kiss. I am a favorite at the vets and everyone says I am adorable. I do have a weight problem, but my thyroid pills are helping and Mom says they are cheap.

I have lost 15 pounds and must say I do look good.  My thyroid levels are now normal.

Hi, I'm Ranger.
I was picked up as a stray and apparently had been on the streets for awhile. When they picked me up, I had kids crawling all over me. I am a very happy boy that loves everyone, even children. I love my foster Mom's grand kids, they like to chase me and that is fun and when they call, I come running to them, I just have to slow down enough as to not bowl them over with my exuberance
.

Since I had been a stray, I wasn't real keen on other dogs, but my foster Mom has taught me to have manners and if I forget, all she has to say is “Ranger” and I remember to be nice. (Honestly, I don't do anything but stare, then give a few barks, but she says that is NOT appropriate).
